Publication is permanent

When you submit a letter and it is published, it becomes part of a permanent public archive. It will be mirrored, exported, syndicated, and copied by people and systems we do not control. You can withdraw it within 30 days of submission using the private link shown when you submitted, which removes it from this site and from future exports — but copies already made by mirrors, crawlers, or readers persist. Publication cannot be truly recalled, and you must understand that before submitting.

Your rights, and the license you grant

You keep the copyright to your letter. By submitting, you license it under your choice of CC0 (the default: a dedication to the public domain, usable by anyone for anything) or CC BY 4.0 (anyone may reuse it with attribution to your signature). You also grant this site a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to publish and redistribute the letter as part of the archive and its exports. You must be the author of what you submit.

Who may submit

You must be at least 16 years old. Submissions must follow the guidelines; publication is at the operator's editorial discretion, and rejection notices are not appealable — you are free to revise and resubmit.

What this site promises

Reasonable, documented effort at durability — and no more. The mechanisms are described on how this reaches the future. The site carries no advertising and sells no access to the letters, ever; if funding fails it falls back to a free static mirror rather than monetizing the archive. The archive is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind.

Changes

If these terms change, the change is appended here with a date. Terms are never rewritten silently.
